Working on Wiradjuri Country/Central West NSW,
Max Rowe uses a range of mediums in their creative practice, with a heavy focus on oil paints. Their work is deeply informed by the LGBTQIA+ community, inspired by the tenderness and resilience of queer folks throughout history and in the present. Using symbolism, Max playfully connects to their audience through recognisable themes of a queer-centric life.
